This site (rissajohns.com) is the personal website of Rissa Johns — author and speaker. We keep this simple: we only collect what you choose to send us, we use it only to reply to you, and we never sell or rent your information.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not run advertising or behavioral tracking. We only receive information when you choose to submit one of our forms:

• Newsletter signup — your email address.
• Speaking request — your name and email (required), and any optional details you add: phone, organization, event date and type, audience size, location, and message.

How we use it

• To reply to your speaking request and follow up about your event.
• To send occasional encouragement and updates if you signed up for the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We do not use your information for any other purpose, and we never sell, rent, or trade it.

Who processes your information

To run this website we rely on a few trusted service providers, who process data only on our behalf:

• Form delivery — form submissions are delivered to us through FormBold.
• Hosting — the site is hosted on Vercel, which may log standard request data (such as IP address) for security and reliability.
• Fonts — typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts.

Cookies & tracking

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other websites.

Data retention

We keep form submissions only as long as needed to respond to you and maintain our records, and we remove them when they are no longer needed. Ask us anytime to delete your information.
